Pastor Cory is a native Eastern North Carolinian, raised in Pamlico and Craven Counties, and carries a deep love for the people and communities of this region.

He is married to his wife, Vera, whom he affectionately calls his queen, and together they have two adult sons, Brandon and Jadon. Pastor Cory received his call to ordained ministry through his home church and has served in full-time pastoral ministry since 2004, shepherding multiple congregations and serving in local, state, national, and global leadership roles.

At his core, Pastor Cory is a man shaped by time with God. He enjoys life with his wife, reading, working outdoors, staying active, and traveling—but he is most alive when sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone willing to listen, wherever God opens the door.

He is deeply passionate about the Gospel, the Church, and reaching people with the hope of Christ. His ministry is focused on discipleship, spiritual growth, and equipping believers to live out their faith with purpose, faithfulness, and obedience to the Great Commission.
